श्री ललिता देवी समस्त ब्रह्माण्ड की माता हैं। वे शाष्वत हैं, दयावान हैं, करुणानिधान हैं और अपने भक्तों पर ज्ञान, समृद्धि और अनन्त आनन्द की वर्षा करती हैं।
श्री ललिता सहस्रनाम ललिता देवी के 1000 गुण हैं। उनका प्रत्येक नाम चेतना के एक-एक गुण को दर्शाता है और अत्यन्त महिमाकारी हैं। सहस्रनाम का पाठ करने वाले या श्रवण करने वाले की चेतना में तथा वातावरण में ललिताम्बा जी के इन समस्त गुणों का जागरण होता है।
श्री ललिता अष्टोत्तर शतनामावली में ललिता देवी के १०८ नाम हैं। इन नामों का उच्चारण करते हुए ललिता जी की कमलार्चना की जाती है।
फलश्रुति के अनुसार श्री ललिता सहस्रनाम तथा स्तोत्रों का पाठ या श्रवण करने से श्री ललिता-भक्तों को अतुलनीय ज्ञान तथा अनन्त समृध्दि की प्राप्ति होती है तथा वे चेतना की उच्च अवस्थाओं का अनुभव करते हैं, जहाॅं समस्त संभावनाएं उपस्थित होती हैं। शुक्रवार श्री ललिता देवी का दिन माना गया है अतः शुक्रवार के दिन ललिता देवी के स्तोत्र और सहस्रनाम सुनने की अनुशंसा की जाती है।

Shri Lalita Sahasranam-1000 names describe 1000 qualities of Lalitambika. Each name of Lalita Devi refers to a quality of consciousness. Listening Sahasranam enlivens these qualities of Lalita Mata in the consciousness of the listener and at the same time, these qualities are charged in the environment.
Shri Lalita Ashtottar Shatnamavali has 108 names of Lalita. These names are few of the most important qualities, which may be chanted while offering lotus flowers to Shri Lalita Devi.
