Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta
श्रीमद भगवदगीता के परिचय की आवश्यकता नहीं है। दूसरे शब्दों में यदि कहें तो कोई भी परिचय भगवदगीता की महानता स्थापित करने के लिये पर्याप्त नहीं है।
गीता के महत्व पर कुछ संक्षिप्त अभिव्यक्तियाॅं इस प्रकार हैं- ज्ञान का अपौरुषेय षाष्वत स्रोत, विष्व में आध्यात्म का सर्वश्रेष्ठ ग्रंथ, वेद और वैदिक वाङ्गमय का संक्षिप्त संस्करण, जीवन का प्रकाष, भगवद् प्रकाष, जीवन की प्रायोगिक एवं पूर्ण मार्गदर्शिका, समय की अस्थिर तरंगों पर उतराती नैया का रक्षक।
गीता जीवन के प्रत्येक क्षेत्र को प्रकाषित करने वाली है और मानव के उधर्वगामी विकास के राजमार्ग के समस्त द्वारों की कुंजी है। यह कर्मयोग, भक्तियोग और ज्ञान योग का पूर्ण एवं अतुलनीय विज्ञान है।
भगवान् श्री विष्णु जी के श्रीमुख से निकली होने के कारण गीता सम्पूर्ण है, शाष्वत है। गीता विष्व की सभी प्रमुख भाषाओं में अनुवादित है और अब तक गीता पर सर्वाधिक भाष्य किये जा चुके हैं।
भगवान ने स्वयं कहा है-
गीताश्रयेऽहं तिष्ठामि गीता में चोत्तमं गृहम्।
गीताज्ञानमुपाश्रित्य त्रील्ँलोकान् पालयाम्यहम्।।
गीता का पाठ या श्रवण करने से जीवन पूर्ण योग की अवस्था को प्राप्त होता है, भगवत् एकात्म को प्राप्त होता है और मानवीय चेतना असीमित सर्वोच्च अवस्था-ब्राह्मीय चेतना को प्राप्त होती है, मनुष्य पूर्ण ज्ञान प्राप्त कर मोक्ष की प्राप्ति करता है।
Shrimad Bhagvat Geeta does not require an introduction, or in other words, any introduction will not be enough to depict the greatness and grandeur of Geeta.
A few short expressions can be enumerated in the glory of Geeta, like-Geeta is apaurusheya-the eternal source of knowledge, one of the greatest spiritual books on earth, a pocket edition of Ved and Vedic literature, the light of life, the light of God, an encyclopedia of life, a complete practical and perfect guide to life, an anchor for the ship of life sailing on the turbulent waves of time.
Geeta glorifies every aspect of life and provides a master-key to open gates of all highways of human evolution simultaneously. Geeta is a scripture of divine union-a complete and incomparable science of Karma Yog, Bhakti Yog and Gyan Yog.
Since Geeta is eternal and its source is the supreme administrator of the universe himself, it is perfect in every way. Geeta is such an important scripture, that it has been translated in all the major languages of the world and a very large number of commentaries have been done on it. Reading or listening to Geeta brings life to a complete state of Yog, a state of divine unification-oneness of one's Self with the God. Geeta enlivens individual consciousness and raises it to the unbounded supreme level of unity consciousness-the enlightenment.
